S Studio newborn session with Family

As we approach Newborn season I have to share this simple boho newborn session with Baby S and his family! While I tend not to create ‘room’ style setups in the studio unless it’s a holiday, Mama M’s vision gave me the opportunity to pull out my long neglected wicker peacock chair and use all the pampas grass I had stuffed in the back cabinet.

Bringing a new baby into the family can be difficult for siblings. Their whole world is changing, their schedule, Mom is less available. It’s completely understandable that when it comes time for photos, they’re generally not very corporative. This wasn’t the case for Baby V and if you even remotely have baby fever right now let these sibling photos just push you over the edge! He was very eager to hold and love on his little baby brother, if anything, I think he was more frustrated that he wasn’t able to play with him like he wanted and was having difficulty understanding he was basically a limp noodle right now.

Giving his older brother a run for his money during his newborn photoshoot, Baby S was a fantastic sleepy model and gave me and his family so much variety in his newborn gallery that he set the bar for the rest of the year very very high!
